I grew up in the Midwest where we had four seasons and fall has always been my fave for fashion.  Here is why I love fall fashion….

I love the dark, moody colors of fall.  Wine is my favorite fall color.  Red is my ultimate favorite color which can be worn any time of year but wine, aubergine, maroon is definitely my fave fall color.  It looks so good with denim, black, gray and more.  I also love evergreen, forest green, olive.  Greens also look good with denim, black and gray.

I adore shackets, layering and long sleeves.  I prefer jeans, pants and not showing my legs in the fall and I am obsessed with boots and booties.  Fall is my fave but winter is my least fave because I don't like having to wear a coat, scarf, hat, gloves, snow boots or feeling cold.  That's why I feel fall is the ultimate.

I love plaids.  I love cozy cardigans and layering.  I love jackets, blazers and leather jackets.  I also love fall textures like faux fur, faux leather and other thick, plush textures.

Here are the items I believe we all need for fall:

A fabulous black top.  We have several to choose from; if you love black as much as I do maybe you need them all.  The velvet black button upblack velvet button up has texture, a classic style and can be paired with most any bottoms.  The black button up is another perfect classic with a subtle pattern.  The black satin blouse is a classic color is a unique and edgy style.  The bold sleeve top is a fun, very unique top that will enhance whatever you choose for the bottom half, it is a statement maker and maybe a rule breaker too!

A great pair of jeans.  The vintage straight jeans are an awesome basic with a slight bit of flair in the distressed raw hemline.  I also believe we should all have a great pair of crops to show off a fabulous pair or shoes or booties.  I am obsessed with the high rise wide leg crop jeans, they are so chic!

If you get cold in fall and winter or plan to go on any trips to cold places, I love the lilac coat. lilac faux fur coat It is faux fur and softer than rabbits fur.  It will look great with jeans, joggers and the patterned skirt.

Everyone needs a dress for fall and we've got options:  the smocked tiered midi plaid dress has an sexy, open square neckline, a smocked bodice and a tiered midi-length skirt.  The smocked spice dress has a modest neckline, a smocked bodice and a tiered midi-length skirt.  These dresses pair well with booties, boots, heels, wedges, slides or sneakers.  The velvet dresses in two colors are comfortable, soft and can be accessorized to be dressy or casual.  The primary feature is the comfort of these dresses.

Necessary accessories are the rancher hat, available in four colors and the tonal belt, available in three colors.

My personal faves are the black puffy vestblack puffer vest (it has feminine, ruffle details around the neckline), the faux leather button up top (in black, of course, which can be worn buttoned or unbuttoned over a patterned cami or graphic tee), the faux leather leggings (pair with any and all oversize shirts, sweaters and shackets you own and they will be elevated thanks to the croc texture in these fabulous pants).

Make sure you watch my upcoming lives on Facebook, Instagram or our free app to learn more about each item and to get a savings code.  Also, mark your calendar to attend my next fall open house shopping event in my home.  If you've never been to one of my events, message me on Facebook for the address.

Thank goodness it's fall!
