I’m so excited about the upcoming trunk show because I absolutely adore Lisa of Be You Jewelry. This will be her third visit to our store and I’m always impressed with her skills. If you haven’t heard of Be You Jewelry, let me just tell you about it. Be You Jewelry is hand stamped jewelry, meaning you can select any message or name or phrase, even a shape and Lisa will stamp it onto your choice of a necklace, a bracelet, a keychain. What makes this so great is, each and every piece is handmade and it is unique. Lisa uses high quality components for her jewelry also, making it long lasting. You will wear this jewelry all the time! And, if you’re giving it as a gift, you will be proud to present a hand crafted item with a message you choose. The timing is perfect for Mother’s Day and moms deserve the best, so we’re bringing Be You Jewelry in for just that reason. Lisa will take your request and create the piece while you wait, shop, have a glass of wine and enjoy the ambience of our charming boutique.
I had Lisa create necklaces for my friends last year for the Superbowl. They turned out perfect!
These bracelets are simple but meaningful.
I also have a charity necklace she made that I adore! Gold bar necklaces are a great layering necklace and so on trend!
Mark your calendar for our trunk show event on April 30 from 3 – 6pm and buy a gift for Mom, yourself or someone else.
Going through the process of closing my store was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done. I realized that I’ve made some amazing friendships with my customers and I realized that I love owning a local business. I’ve made it my mission to foster relationships with other boutique owners because we share a common interest and passion. So, I’ve been friends with Allison of Adelaide Boutique since she opened her store. It’s so much better to be friends with other business owners than to be enemies and owning a boutique alone can be really…. lonely. I am a collaborator and brainstorming is an integral part of accomplishing great things in a business. During the process of closing I began discussing a possible partnership with Allison and we decided to give it a go. We hit the ground running and now have two very successful events under our belt. The great thing about our partnership is our common goals and values, we care about our customers, we care about our relationships and we care about keeping it local. The exciting thing about the Clothes Minded/Adelaide Boutique partnership is we both kept our identities. Adelaide carries fun gifts, decor and jewelry. Clothes Minded carries clothing, accessories and jewelry. Now, our customers can shop in a store that offers so many more options. They also can always come in and shop with an owner in the store. We still offer many locally made treasures and we’re happy to share the stories of those who make these things such as State Forty Eight and Beautifully Broken. We carry recognizable brands such as Lenny and Eva, Poo Pourri, Dex, Havaianas, Capri Blue, Invisibelt and more. We have lots of great events coming and we plan to offer fundraising events for groups needing to raise money, such as high school clubs, dance squads and more. We will have a prom dress donation soon with the National Charity League’s Cinderella Affair. So, please follow us on Facebook by clicking here or subscribe to our email by clicking here and entering your information to always be in the know about the many fun things we have going on. And come shop at 4910 E Chandler Blvd in Ahwatukee between Bahama Bucks and Madison Ave Salon and Spa!
